Payment should be finished four weeks before the arrival of the group.

Cancellation: You may cancel your confirmed booking, but this must be in written letter (email or fax). But if cancellation occurs after your confirmation to book the tour, or if you fail to pay the full cost of the tour within the specified time, you will be liable to pay cancellation charges.

Cancellation charges are as follows:

  • No less than 30 days before arrival: $150 per person
  • 30 to 15 days before arrival: $300 per person
  • 14 to 7 days before arrival: 60% of the full payment per person
  • 6 to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the full payment per person

 Traveler substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation fees. After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

Refunding: If you have paid for the tour but then have to cancel it more than 15 days before the start of your tour, we will refund all the payment except the deposit ($300 per person). If cancellation has to be made within 15 days, we will charge some cancellation penalty as well as the deposit, according to how much we have to pay to our suppliers. We will try our best to decrease your loss because we know it's not your purpose to cancel it.

Arrive in Beijing, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is at lesiure. Welcome dinner will be served tonight.

Day 2: Beijing B/L
Visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Next comes Forbidden City. After lunch visit the imposing Temple of Heaven where the Emperor came each year to intercede with the Gods for a good and plentiful harvest.

Day 3: Beijing – Pyongyang B/L
(Air China flights operate Monday & Friday only) Fly to Pyongyang.

(Have to be on Tuesday for this tour) Today tour incl. Mt. Myohang (International Friendship Exhibition Hall), Mansudae Grand Monument, Arch of Triumph, Fountain Park etc. We will enjoy the Arirang Mass Games in May Day Stadium in the evening.

Today visit Korean War Museum, USS Pueblo, Grand People’s Study House, 3 Revolutions Exhibition, Korean Central Art Gallery etc.

Day 6: Pyongyang – Kaesong B/L
Visit Kumsusan Memorial Palace (Mausoleum of Kim Il Sung), Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery Mangyongdae Native House, Pyongyang Metro. Drive to Kaesong & transfer to hotel.

Day 7: Kaesong – Pyongyang B/L
Tour Panmunjom/DMZ, Kaesong Koryo Museum, return to Pyongyang Monument to visit Party Foundation, Juche Tower, Book shop, Stamp shop, Kim Il Sung Square etc.

Day 8: Pyongyang – Dandong B/L
Transfer to railway station for your train from Pyongyang to Dandong.

Day 9: Dandong – Beijing B/L
Tour Tiger hill section of Great Wall in Dandong and the museum of the war to resist US aggression and aid North Korea. Next boat trip on the Yalu river, visit broken bridge which was damaged by the U.S bomber in Korean War. Afterward transfer to your overnight train to Beijing.

Arrive in Beijing at 08:30. Pick up & transfer to hotel.

Day 11: Beijing – Xi'an
This morning visit the favourite haunt of the Empress Dowager, the Summer Palace. Walking in this veritable museum of classical Chinese garden architecture, where the royal family could relax away from the formal ceremony of the court, is a pleasant experience. There are a number of pavilions as well as the Long Corridor, now a popular place for people to spend the day. Take a night sleeper train to Xi’an, the former captical of ancient China.

Pick up and visit the ancient Xi'an City Wall (14th century) one of the most important city walls in China. Afterwards, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The square, seven-storey pagoda was built in 652 AD.

Following breakfast in the hotel, we will set out for another highlight of your tour, the Terracotta Warriors Museum. The thousands of life size soldiers and horses were created to guard the tomb of Qin Shi Huangdi, the first Emperor to unite China under his firm rule. The royal tomb itself has yet to be opened but the rank upon rank of Warriors is a sight that is unrivalled anywhere in the world. After lunch, we will visit the Provincial History Museum which has the richest collection of artifacts in China.

Day 14: Xi'an – Shanghai B/L
Take flight to Shanghai. Visit Yuyuan Garden. Laid out in the 16th century by a Ming official. Next comes the Bund. Last, have a stroll on Nanjing Road.

Transfer to airport for your leaving flight. End of service.
