Payment should be finished four weeks before the arrival of the group.

Cancellation: You may cancel your confirmed booking, but this must be in written letter (email or fax). But if cancellation occurs after your confirmation to book the tour, or if you fail to pay the full cost of the tour within the specified time, you will be liable to pay cancellation charges.

Cancellation charges are as follows:

  • No less than 30 days before arrival: $150 per person
  • 30 to 15 days before arrival: $300 per person
  • 14 to 7 days before arrival: 60% of the full payment per person
  • 6 to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the full payment per person

 Traveler substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation fees. After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

Refunding: If you have paid for the tour but then have to cancel it more than 15 days before the start of your tour, we will refund all the payment except the deposit ($300 per person). If cancellation has to be made within 15 days, we will charge some cancellation penalty as well as the deposit, according to how much we have to pay to our suppliers. We will try our best to decrease your loss because we know it's not your purpose to cancel it.

Arriving at Beijing airport, our China representative will be at the airport to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day2: Beijing B/L
An unforgettable outing includes a visit to the wondrous Great Wall at Juyong Guan Pass, where you will have the chance to climb a portion of this 3,700-mile vista and marvel. Zigzagging from east to west along the undulating mountains, the Great Wall was built to hold off tribal invaders from the north. Its dramatic descends, steep ridges and narrow valleys will create a marvelous landscape for your camera. Return to the city, enjoy an outside view of the Bird’s Nests and Water Cube.

Day3: Beijing – Xi’an by night train B/L
Today we will visit some of the contrasting sights of Beijing, our capital city. Our first stop will be at Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Dominating the north side of the square is the massive red Tian’anmen Gate through which we will pass into the fabled Forbidden City and another age, where we will see the home of the members of the royal family and their court during China’s Ming and Qing Dynasties. After lunch we will visit the imposing Temple of Heaven where the Emperor came each year to intercede with the Gods for a good and plentiful harvest. In the evening transfer to train station to take night sleeper train Z19 (20:43/07:58+1) to Xi’an.

Day4: Arrival Xi’an & Tour Xi’an B/L
Arrive in Xi’an (the ancient former capital city) at 07:58, meet the local guide at train station and transfer to have breakfast. Then set out for another highlight of your tour, the Terracotta Warriors Museum. The thousands of life size soldiers and horses were created to guard the tomb of Qin Shi Huangdi, the first Emperor to unite China under his firm rule. The royal tomb itself has yet to be opened but the rank upon rank of Warriors is a sight that is unrivalled anywhere in the world. In the late afternoon stroll on Muslim Street. All shops and restaurants in the street are operated by Muslims. The stalls lined the narrow alleys sell almost everything you can expect. There are number of stalls selling small items of aircrafts.

Day5: Xi’an B/L
To start your day before breakfast, you will have a unique chance to experience the mysterious and ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan, a 300-year old traditional Chinese martial art, also known as shadow boxing. After breakfast you will visit the Provincial History Museum with its richest collection of artifacts in China. Next visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area which mainly consists of the Xi’an Museum, the ancient Jianfu Temple built in the year 684 A.D during the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907) and the famous Small Wild Goose Pagoda. The scenic area has become a wonderful leisure site for the appreciation of cultural relics, sightseeing and entertainment. Followed by strolling on Shu Yuan Men, which is an ancient-style street. Various crafts and arts are sold on this crowded street all year long. It is particularly famous for its collection of calligraphy. In fact, the market is popularly known as the "Calligraphy Street". A host of shops here carry the legacy of the ancient Chinese art. This art street is flanked by over 100 shops in the Ming and Qing styles, selling rubbings from stone inscriptions, paintings and calligraphic works by celebrities, and books of ancient seals. The high quality of this work wins many tourists at home and abroad.

Day6: Xi’an – Chongqing – Cruise day 1 B
Free till take noon/early afternoon flight to Chongqing and visit Ciqikou Ancient Town which preserved in sprawling modern Chongqing. It’s an old sleepy town built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The town’s name, Ciqikou, means porcelain harbor, and the community prospered from the porcelain trade. Today it offers a glimpse of the peaceful laid-back life in the Sichuan countryside and is somewhere to take a break from the busy commercial world of Chongqing. Afterwards we will transfer to the pier to join your cruise ship to start your cruise.

Day7: Fengdu and onward – Cruise day 2 B/L/D
This morning we will make a stop for a visit to the Ghost City of Fengdu, famous for its temple dedicated to the King of the Underworld, an association dating back to the Han Dynasty. Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, empty shops and banks.

Day8: Lesser Three Gorges – Cruise day 3 B/L/D
Today will stop off for an excursion to the Lesser Three Gorges which are the three separate valleys of the Daning River: Dragon Gate Gorge, Misty Gorge and Emerald Gorge. These lie on the lower reaches of the Daning, which flows into the Yangtze. The gorges are truly spectacular. Sheer cliffs soar up towards the sky from the brown-green water. Mountain tops hover above the ribbon of mist, disconnected from their roots. Its "subtle mountains, clear waters, pretty rocks, dangerous rapids, sharp turns, fantastic caves, and stalactites in various shapes" create the timeless beauty that you see in Chinese landscape paintings. Monkeys, mandarin ducks and other water birds can be seen loitering on big boulders in this area. In addition to the wonderful natural scenery there are a number of historical places of interest along the way, such as a suspended coffin, boat coffin, and remains of ancient plank walkway.

Day9: Cruise day 4: Three Gorges Dam – Yichang – Shanghai B/L
Today we arrive at the Three Gorges Dam site and take a shore excursion to see this marvel of engineering. It is the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. After lunch onboard we will arrive in Yichang at about 1330. After disembarking the cruise, your guide will meet you and transfer you to the airport for your flight FM9366 (15:35/17:05) to Shanghai. On arrival at Shanghai, transfer to hotel.

Day10: Shanghai B/L
Shanghai is a city that must be seen to be appreciated. Morning visit Yuyuan Garden. Laid out in the 16th century by a Ming official, this small (2 hectares) garden is a delight of pools, pavilions and rock gardens. Strolling through the bazaar surrounding the garden, you will find lines of stores that sell traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Next visit Shanghai Old City. In the afternoon, enjoy walking tour on the Bund. Along the 1.5 km bund, all the grand buildings are over hundred years, each of them has it's own story. Lined with all the colonial buildings, the Bund is a significant area for the recent Chinese history and overlooking Huangpu River. Continue visit Nanjing Road, this is Shanghai's main shopping street, enjoying the fame as "the No. 1 commercial street of China", also it is one of the most prosperous streets in Asia.

Day11: Shanghai B
Morning visit the Shanghai Museum on People's Square with its fine collection of cultural relics. Next comes The Shanghai French Concession, also known as French town, was a former foreign concession in Shanghai during the period of 1849 to 1946. It includes the area of Luwan and Xuhui District, which has always been Shanghai's most charming district. Free in the afternoon.
